What a powerful message this morning! It made us realize how often we seem to bypass the Lenten journey and focus only on the glorious Easter message. As spring pops up around us and the excitement of coming through winter is upon us, it’s hard to be so introspective and focused on the terrible details of Jerusalem. Actually, I’m imagining the beginning of spring because out here in western Illinois and I suspect Ashtabula, we are still seeing ice and snow, cold winds and January like weather. Thanks for the strong reminder of what we as Christians need to be doing.
